Marianne Hite maintains a comprehensive website, and her work has been featured in the book of "100 Artists of the Midwest" by Ashley Rooney. Marianne has worked extensively with The Harris Stanton Gallery in Cleveland and Akron throughout its tenure. Marianne has done several public installations; Akron Children’s Hospital, Summa Health System -Akron Campus-Healing Arts in the New Patient Tower | Summa Health , The Green Branch Library and the Firestone Memorial Library,. She was the lead artist working several summers with The Summer Arts Program with the City of Akron where the work was installed at The Coral Reef exhibit at the Akron Zoo and she was also chosen by the Arts Lift Program through the Lola Isroff Grant to teach teens how to create the works they installed such as in the butterfly conservatory at Stan Hywet Hall,. Hite exhibits intensively in Ohio and in Pennsylvania, and her work is carried by galleries in Akron and Cleveland. She has her work at Akron Glass works, Gallery 143, and at the Peninsula Art Academy. Formerly she taught and had shown her work at The Steinert Glass School and Canal Fulton Glassworks, both have now respectively retired. She teaches classes at her studio in Green and also teaches at Peninsula Art Academy, Peninsula Ohio.
